The website project was instigated to give visibility and voice to women who desire to express opinions, competences and qualities in many different fields of culture, of politics, of society and institutions. They are sometimes outstanding contributors, as testified by the World Women Conference (Peking, 1995). The website strives to inform and share culture with women and men; to promote a dialogue with the vast public; and be a place or better yet a community of experiences, of life, of thought, of culture.
LIBERA UNIVERSITA’ DELLE DONNE is a cultural association leading research into the relationship between feminine identity and culture’s norms.
La Casa Internazionale delle Donne di Roma (The International Women’s House of Rome), “a project of Roman women movement, originated since the Via del Governo Vecchio house’s occupation, taking over the inheritance of the Women’s House created in that period.
