THE TRUST FUNDS

There are four financial companies
the Banca del Ceresio of Lugano
the Profile Bank of Milan
the Widiba Bank of Lecce
the Fineco Bank of Lecce
who manage the Trust's capital by investing in stocks and bonds.

There are also many real estate properties in Milan, Bologna, Lecce, southern Salento, Malta.
 

Did we set up a company in Malta in November 2019 - INVESTMENT FOR WOMEN Ltd - which will manage the 21 apartments located throughout floor 15 and floor 24 of the Towers of the Mercury project by Zaha Hadid for Zaha Hadid Architects, signed before his death in 2016 but built posthumously. The proceeds of the rents, withholding taxes and expenses, will be the main constant income of the Trust.

The four-storey building in Milan, near via Washington, was given on free loan to CADMI (Casa delle Donne Maltrattate di Milano) for a project of migrant women.
While that of Bologna, with three floors and basement, was always given on free loan to the Casa delle Donne to avoid being subjected to non-profit violence.
Then there is the Beehive of Milan, via della Ferrera 8, near the Naviglio Grande. A splendid structure, an ancient clay brick factory, complete with chiminea, always on free loan. The front part facing the street was, however, rented to a restaurant, which allows the association to have a steady livelihood. Also the headquarters of Alveare Lecce, a three hundred square meter house with a five hectare garden in the Messapica archaeological area, is on free loan.
Last but not least! The Sciare in San Foca, in Salento. A restored farmhouse, with access to the sea through an underpass, and twenty-eight hectares of park. A true oasis for both animals and women of the Feminist movement, who every summer stay there as guests of Giovanna Foglia.

WHO SUPPORTS US:
 

In the beginning, the Nel Nome Della Donna Trust received the donations of the four women who launched the venture – the Settlors. Since that time, we are supported and financed by many women and men, as individuals or groups, who support the Trust’s goals. Men, not eligible as beneficiaries, have and may give grants to Trust’s projects. The Trust’s estate is nourished by donations and appropriations made by women, men, and associations, who share the Trust's purposes.
 

To generate donations, the Trust promotes initiatives such as:
a) advertisement of the project, in order to solicit other women’s interest and contributions to support the Trust
b) financed projects wherein the Trust participates or partners with the applicant.

 
Nel Nome Della Donna also intends to organize Prizes and Awards – in movies, photography and other artistic fields.
